Preheat your smoker to 325 °F. Use pellets, charcoal or wood chunks of choice.
Prepare the meatballs: Combine 1.5 lbs ground beef, half an onion, 1 cup of breadcrumbs, 1 egg, 1 Tbsp minced green pepper, 1 Tbsp minced garlic, 3 Tbsp Myron Mixon Hickory BBQ Sauce and 1 Tbsp Lane’s Signature Rub in a bowl. Make sure everything is evenly incorporated.
Form into 2 inch x 2 inch balls (or preferred meatball size) and place in a grill safe dish or cast iron.
In a smaller cast iron or grill safe saucepan, add 1/4 stick butter, and 1 cup Myron Mixon Hickory BBQ Sauce. Place on your grill with the meatballs.
Cook for 45 minutes or until an internal temperature of 140 °F.
Baste meatballs with the sauce on the grill 2-3 times.
Remove and let cool. Enjoy!
