Ingredients
-
Perfect Turkey Seasoning by The Spice Guy
-
Garlic Ranch Mix by The Spice Guy
-
Bird Brine by The Spice Guy
-
3-4 lb Boneless Turkey Breast
-
1 Stick Butter
-
1/2 Cup Mayo
-
1 Cup Water
-
1 Tbsp Vinegar Based Hot Sauce
Directions
Preheat your smoker or grill to 250 °F. If using wood chunks or pellets, we suggest using mesquite and or oak.
Prepare to inject the turkey by melting 1 stick of butter in a deep saucepan or coffee mug. Reserve half of the melted butter for basting later on. Mix half of the melted butter with 1 cup water, 1 Tbsp Hot Sauce, 1 tsp of Bird Brine by The Spice Guy and 1 Tbsp Perfect Turkey Seasoning by The Spice Guy.
Using the Grill Masters Club injector, place the injector into the melted butter mixture and pull the injector, filling it with the liquid. Going under the skin into the beast, slowly inject each side of the breast. Slowly pull the injector out of the breast to insure the liquid stays inside.
In a small mixing bowl add 1 Tbsp of Garlic Ranch Mix by The Spice Guy to 1/2 cup mayo (butter or tallow can substitute). Apply mixture to the entire turkey breast, making sure to get underneath the skin. Stretch the skin so that it expands and can be tucked beneath.
Season the turkey with Perfect Turkey Seasoning by The Spice Guy.
Smoke the turkey breast at 250 °F for 2 hours. Increase the temperature of the grill or smoker to 325 °F. Roast for 25-30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 °F.
Remove the turkey from the grill and let cool before slicing.
