Ingredients
-
Feiny's Citrus Dust
-
Somethin’ for Rubbin’ by B.T. Leigh’s
-
Hot Honey Sweet BBQ Sauce by The Spice Guy
-
Lemon Garlic Aioli Squeeze by Terrapin Ridge Farms
-
2 Cups Steak, cubed
-
2 Cups Chicken Breast, cubed
-
12-16 Wooden Skewers (6 inch)
-
Bell Peppers
-
Zucchini
-
Red Onion
Directions
Marinate the chicken and steak skewers: Add chicken, steak and vegetables to wooden skewers. Place in a food safe container (marinate vegetables separately) and pour 3/4 Cup Hot Honey Sweet BBQ Sauce by The Spice Guy and 1/2 Cup of water over the skewers. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Remove the skewers from the marinade and generously season with Feiny's Citrus Dust and Somethin’ for Rubbin’ by B.T. Leigh’s.
On a griddle or grill at medium-high (around 350 °F), begin grilling the skewers. The steak skewers will grill for 2 minutes each side (until 128-132 °F internal degrees) and the chicken will grill 4 minutes each side (until 165-170 °F internal degrees), the vegetables will take as long as the chicken. Pour marinade liquid over the proteins while grilling to enhance flavor and texture.
Remove skewers from the grill and top with a drizzle of Lemon Garlic Aioli Squeeze by Terrapin Ridge Farms.
Recipe Note
Pro Tips: Don’t worry about soaking the skewers in water, because the marinade will hydrate them. Keep chicken and steak on separate skewers because the two proteins cook at different internal temperatures.
