Myron Mixon's Dry Rub Recipe for Ribs
BBQ like a 5-time world champion with this straight forward rib rub recipe used by Myron Mixon.
This is a sweet dry rub recipe that will go great on any type of ribs, as well as other cuts of pork (pork butt, pork shoulder, etc.). If you want more heat, increase the amount of cayenne pepper!
Note that the high sugar content in this rub will lend itself to a lower smoking temperature (225 - 250). Too much exposure to direct flame will caramelize your bark too quickly, leading to the potential for burn.
