Ingredients
Lumberjack Hickory Maple Seasoning by PS Seasoning
Preheat your smoker to 260 °F using hickory, maple, apple, or oak wood.
Prepare the bacon: It’s best to use very thick cut smoked bacon, about 1/4 inch thick. Apply a very small amount of Maple Bourbon Wing Sauce by PS Seasoning to all sides as a binder.
Season with Lumberjack Hickory Maple Seasoning by PS Seasoning and a sprinkle of brown sugar on all sides.
Place the bacon slices on a wire rack and smoke on the top rack of the smoker for 45 minutes. Flip the bacon and smoke for an additional 45 minutes.
Remove from the smoker and let air dry for 10 minutes before serving.
Recipe Note
Pro Tip: If making the bacon by the batch and storing in the refrigerator, store by separating the bacon into layers between sheets of parchment paper in a food safe container or plastic bag.
