2 lb Bone-In Ribeye

Cooking Oil
Directions
We’re cooking this rib-eye on a charcoal grill however, feel free to cook on a grill of your choice using the given temperatures as a guide.
Prepare charcoal briquettes: Use a chimney or method of choice.
Apply cooking oil as a binder, then season the porterhouse with Lone Star Carnivore All-Purpose Rub by Miners Mix.
Place charcoal on one side of the grill.
Place the ribeye on a grate indirectly from the coals. Close the lid of the grill leaving the vent open. Cook the ribeye for 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 115 °F.
Sear the ribeye for 2.5 minutes on each side over direct coals for 2 rounds, 10 minutes total, or until internal temperature reaches 130 °F.
Remove the ribeye and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Recipe Note
Pro Tip: Serve with twice smoked potatoes and pair with a barrel strength bourbon.
