California Raisin Chipotle Sauce

California Raisin Chipotle Sauce

This California Raisin Chipotle sauce is great on chicken, ribs or even as a zesty dressing for juicy burgers!

This California Raisin Chipotle Sauce has the right amount of sweet from the raisins and tomatillos along with the perfect kick from the chipotle peppers to create a BBQ sauce that you can use on chicken, ribs, or finish off your burger with.If you are not familiar with tomatillos, they are also known as the Mexican husk tomato and used prominently in Mexican sauces. FYI - when peeling the husk off of them you will find your fingers a bit sticky. DO NOT substitute canned tomatillos for the fresh tomatillos as it offers your recipe a different consistency and flavor.California Raisin Chipotle Sauce
