RICKY ALBRIGHT - Iron Fire Cooking
My cooking journey began very early. I grew up watching my dad at the hunting cabin cook extraordinary wild game meals. My all-time favorite meals would be buttermilk and bourbon-brined fried wild turkey nuggets, fried shell cracker, and any type of grilled or smoked beef.
I am a cattle rancher. We began by rescuing bottle-fed calves, which then developed into a cow/calf operation. I am also a representative for the Alabama Cattleman’s Association. In addition to running the farm, I am a self-taught grill master, award-winning BBQ champion, and I have a great passion for all things BBQ. I love cooking and how it brings family and friends together in fellowship.
