Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp Oh My Garlic! Sauce by Torchbearer Sauces
- 1 Tbsp Smoky Barbecue Rub by Rub with Love
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 4 Burger Buns
- 4 slices of Cheese
- Toppings of your choice: Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Pickles
Directions
- Preheat your grill to high heat.
- Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions and shape each into a ball.
- Mix Oh My Garlic! Sauce by Torchbearer Sauces and Smoky Barbecue Rub by Rub with Love together in a small bowl.
- Place a cast-iron skillet or griddle on the grill and let it heat up for a few minutes.
- Place the beef balls on the hot skillet or griddle and use a spatula to smash them down until each patty is about 1/8 inch thick.
- Spread a spoonful of the sauce and seasoning mixture over the top of the smashed beef patties.
- Cook the patties for about 2-3 minutes, then use a spatula to flip them over.
- Add a slice of cheese to the top of each patty and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Butter and then toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute or two.
- Assemble your burgers with your desired toppings.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious, smoky and garlicky smashburgers!
