
Sauced Up Bacon Wrapped Asparagus Recipe
This delicious recipe was developed for Grill Masters Club by Ricky Albright from Iron Fire Cooking. It features three products from our limited edition “Return of the BBQ Pit Boys” grilling & BBQ box (pictured below).


Sauced Up Bacon Wrapped Asparagus Recipe
Take your asparagus to the next level by adding bacon and spicing / saucing with three great products from our "Return of the BBQ Pit Boys" box.
Equipment
- Grill
- Toothpicks
Ingredients
- 1/2 pack Sliced Bacon
- 1 lb Asparagus
- 4 oz BBQ Pit Boys Smokey Whiskey Sauce (from our "Return of the BBQ Pit Boys" box)
- PS Seasoning On The Rocks – Bourbon Pepper Grinder (from our "Return of the BBQ Pit Boys" box)
- 4 oz Terrapin Ridge Farms Hot Pepper Bacon Jam (from our "Return of the BBQ Pit Boys" box)
Instructions
- Prep your grill for direct heat.
- Lay bacon out and season one side with On The Rocks – Bourbon Pepper Grinder by PS Seasoning thoroughly.
- Cut the ends off of the asparagus and wrap in 2 pieces of bacon for each bundle of 6 asparagus.
- Secure the bacon around the asparagus with toothpicks.
- Mix 4 oz of the Pepper Jelly with 4 oz of the Smokey Whiskey Sauce and brush them good
- Grill over high heat, flipping often, for 2-3 minutes per side, adding more sauce during the cook.
- Remove toothpicks and enjoy!
